Farmers Market!!

A month ago or so I was contacted about selling my jewelry at a farmers market that is going to be held every Saturday until the end of May. I decided to spread out and sell hand painted signs, vinyl signs, picture magnet boards and tu tu's.... Here's what I have made so far.. For info on the famers market look at my jewelry blog. The many beds of Kylie

When I got pregnant with Kaleb, I got all excited to get his room ready so I decided to have Kylie sleep in her big girl bed when she was 18 months old. BAD IDEA!!! Basically she wouldn't stay in her bed and ended up in our bed every night. It's now gotten to the point that when she's ready for bed she goes straight into our bed. She's now 4 1/2 and something needs to be done.

Today we finally got her a real bed, and it's name is actually the "Kylie Bed". Once I saw it I just had to have it. Anyways when we got home today from running errands she knew that the bed was in the garage in the box. She got so excited for it she hugged the box. She couldn't wait to put it together. When I showed her a picture of it from my cell phone, she got this big gasping squeal and said that it was "beautiful".

I always wanted a headboard for her bed, but since her bed used to be just the metal frame it was just blah.... I had this mirror to my bedroom's dresser that was broken and I decided to turn the frame to it into a headboard.. I think it turned out way cute~~~ But the room was still very Blah!!!

Then I tried the bed/headboard in a different spot... and we also did some decorating.
I just love~love~love the polka dots.

And I tried it in a different spot again...

Then several months back Stuart began working from home and needed a memo/message board above his desk. I had yet another great idea for the old frame. I turned it into a magnet board for him.... You'll all be happy to know that he never goes into his office, instead he sits on the couch in the living room with his laptop. But there is stuff on the magnet board at least now.
So in its place I made this sign for her wall that took the place of the headboard... (I couldn't find any pictures of it with the bed)

This is Kylie in her bed watching some TV until she falls asleep IN HER OWN BED!!!

Who wants oranges?

This isn't the most exciting post in the world.... but my orange tree finally has oranges on it. I can't wait till January when they'll be ready to eat!

Rollie Pollie Kolby....

Kolby rolled over today for the first time. He's almost been there a few times but he always got stuck with his arm under him not letting him go all the way over. I guess this is the end of leaving him on the counter while I get something out of the fridge!!!

E.T. Phone Home!!

Today for the first time in all my 30 years, as far as I remember, I saw E.T. I don't ever remember seeing it as a child. I was 4 when it came out, so it was fun watching it with Kylie who is 4. She got all scared in the beginning when E.T. first made his arrival. She even got a little teary when E.T. died.... (hope I didn't spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it). Then when he came back to life she actually jumped for joy. I was actually suprised it was a good little movie...
